The Pune Fire Department rescued ten Persian cats after a fire broke out in a building on Friday evening.
The Pune fire department rescued ten Persian cats from a three-story building in Ghorpade Peth that caught fire on Friday evening. No casualties were reported in the incident.

The fire brigade control room received a call about a building fire in Ghorpade Peth around 6:55 pm. A fire department team and a fire tender were quickly dispatched to the scene.
Firemen found flames and smoke coming out from the building in a lane near the Urdu school in Ghorpade Peth.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
