A 40-year-old man in Puducherry climbed a tree after spotting healthcare workers to avoid Covid-19 vaccination.
A resident of a village near Puducherry's Villianur climbed up a tree carrying a machete in a bid to avoid getting vaccinated by the healthcare workers.
The health officials had come to the village to administer Covid-19 vaccines. The middle-aged man reportedly climbed up a tree after spotting healthcare workers and started cutting small branches.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
