Puducherry CM N. Rangasamy files nominations for two constituencies as several ministers and MLAs join the electoral race.
All India N.R. Congress founder and Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Friday (March 20, 2026) filed nomination papers for contesting in the upcoming April 9 Assembly election from two constituencies — Thattanchavady and Mangalam — with Returning Officers Arjun Ramakrishnan and C. Senthil Kumar respectively.
According to the affidavit of Mr. Rangasamy, published on the Elections Department website, the total value of his movable assets was ₹21,25,752. He had immovable assets (inherited assets) worth ₹27,78,00,000 and liabilities of ₹35 lakh.
