The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), on Sunday (March 22, 2026), announced its candidates for Oupalam and Orleanpeth Assembly constituencies in the Puducherrry Union territory as part of the AINRC-BJP alliance.
The party named former legislator A. Anbalagan as its candidate for Oupalam constituency and party functionary A. Gandhi as its candidate for Orleanpeth constituency.

An official announcement was made by AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami in this regard. The polling is in Puducherry is scheduled on April 9.
Under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Puducherry, the AIADMK is facing polls in two seats, while the BJP is contesting in 10 seats, the All India N.R. Congress (AINRC) contests in 16 seats and the newly-formed Latchiya Jananayaga Katchi (LJK) has been allotted two seats.
