Protesting Punjab farmers didn't have concrete information about PM's convoy passing through flyover: SKM

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Thursday said that Punjab farmers had no 'concrete information' that PM Modi's convoy would pass through the flyover where they were protesting.

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Thursday said that farmers in Punjab had no 'concrete information' that the convoy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi would pass through the flyover where they were protesting. It also said they got the information after the Prime Minister went back.

Ten farmers organisations' affliated to the SKM had staged a symbolic protest against the arrest of Union MoS Ajay Mishra Teni, whose son Ashish Mishra is an accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case ahead of PM Modi's visit to Punjab on Wednesday.
