Project Day at Sarvani school in Srikakulam promotes ancient languages, cultures, and traditions with support from local officials.
Project Day organised on Saturday at Sarvani school on Arasavilli road in Srikakulam was an occasion for students to know about the importance of ancient languages, their origin, different cultures and traditions of the country.
Former District Educational Officer Balivada Malleswara Rao, and Gurajada Educational Society management representative G. Samyuktha inaugurated the event. They lauded the initiative of the school correspondent Andhavarapu Suribabu, which would help children know about the Vedas, Sanskrit and other languages.
Students displayed portraits of great personalities who belonged to different States and languages. Headmistress K. Rekha was among those present.
