Brandon Herrera, also known as "The AK Guy," said he was "disgusted" his name may have "came out of this demon's mouth."
Prominent YouTuber and Second Amendment advocate Brandon Herrera spoke out against the actions of Minneapolis Catholic school shooter Robin Westman, now deceased, who appears to have praised Herrera in a video posted online.
Westman fired dozens of rounds through the windows of Annunciation Church as children sat in pews during a morning Mass on Wednesday. An 8-year-old and a 10-year-old were killed, while 14 other children and several elderly parishioners were injured.
Westman died by suicide at the scene.
“I’m still physically sickened and angry about this clearly hate motivated attack on innocent children, and disgusted that my name came out of this demon’s mouth,” Herrera said in a statement posted to social media on Wednesday.
Westman came armed with a pistol, a rifle and a shotgun for the attack on the Minneapolis church and school.
