The winners of The Hindu Deepa Kolam contest 2025 were felicitated in Coimbatore on Thursday. The contest was open to all those who decorated their houses with fulgent lamps on the eve of Karhigai Deepam.
The prizes were distributed at The Hindu office in Coimbatore. The winners were selected based on the elegance and extravagance of their Deepa Kolam and the way they exhibited it in the microsite.
Rosia D. was the winner of the contest while Aarthi was the first runner up, Rubini and Seeni Natarajan were the second. Aparna, Meenakshi, M. Ammu, Chithradevi R., Sujatha M., Chandra Amarlal and Preethi Vignesh were awarded consolation prices.
The contest was presented by ITC Mangaldeep, co-powered by Gopuram Turmeric powder and Kumkum and gifts for the winners were sponsored by Medimix, Naga, and PS Tamarind.
