The privatisation and sale of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and other public sector organisations will have adverse impact on the employment of workers in the organised and unorganised sectors, Confederation of Free Trade Unions of India (CFTUI) national executive committee member Balabhanu has said. The much-anticipated Special Cabinet meeting to iron out differences over internal reservation among 101 Scheduled Castes, which was to be held on Friday, has been postponed to beyond April 9.
