
Positive COVID tests increase across NY as vax rate reaches 75%

The percentage of COVID-19 tests coming back positive rose in every region of New York over the last three days, even as federal data showed the vaccination rate for adults, topped 75 percent.
On Friday, 3,050 New Yorkers tested positive for the deadly bug, for a statewide positivity rate of 2.40 percent, Gov. Cuomo announced. New York City had a 2.25 percent positivity rate, rising .18 points since Wednesday. Staten Island remained the borough with the highest positivity rate, at 3.15 percent.More Related News
