Police arrests two in connection with Rs 27 lakh burglary in Delhi's Laxmi Nagar

The Delhi Police has arrested the accused in connection with a burglary case which occurred in Laxmi Nagar area.
A PCR call was received in Laxmi Nagar police station regarding theft from a house, wherein it was reported that the burglars have decamped with Rs 27 lakh cash and 3 necklaces.
A case under appropriate sections was registered on the statement of the complainant, namely Vishal Jain, resident of Kishan Kunj, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.
The police team then worked relentlessly and examined CCTV cameras installed at and around the spot and also mounted technical surveillance.
Meanwhile, one accused was already arrested by the Crime Branch. However, a team of local police continued working on this and on the basis of gathered information one accused namely Nasim, age 42 years and the resident of Mohan Puri, near Nura Alahi, Ghonda Mojpur, Delhi was identified.
The police team carried out a raid on the basis of a tip-off and arrested the accused.
Upon Nasim's interrogation, one receiver of the stolen property, namely Manoj Kumar Verma, age 47 years and a resident of Adarsh Mohalla, Mojpur, Delhi was also arrested.
Rs 2 lakh in cash and two scooties used for committing the crime have also been recovered from the accused.
