Pokhran spy case: Kingpin in Pak high commission, blackmailed arrested agent: Intel sources

Intelligence sources said the Pokhran espionage case accused Habeeb Khan was being blackmailed by a person posted with the Pakistan’s high commission.

Intelligence sources have said that the Pokhran espionage case has connection with the Pakistan’s high commission. Habeeb Khan alias Habibur Rahman, who was arrested in the espionage case, was being blackmailed by one Kamal posted with the Pakistan’s high commission, according to intelligence sources. This emerged from the questioning of Habeeb Khan by the Delhi Police Crime Branch and intelligence agencies. Sources said Haseeb Khan told his interrogators that a person sitting in the Pakistan’s high commission was blackmailing him into spying for the ISI.
