PM security breach: A mob, shouting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, refused to let Punjab Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni pass till he stepped out of his car and shouted ‘Modi Zindabad’.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni was forced to chant “Modi Zindabad” after a mob surrounded him and blocked his convoy on Thursday. The mob, shouting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, refused to let him pass till he stepped out of his car and shouted ‘Modi Zindabad’. After yesterday's incident, BJP workers today surrounded Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni on the road and chanted 'Jai Shri Ram', later OP Soni raised 'Modi Zindabad' slogan and then the protesters let him go. pic.twitter.com/HQXEx4sJ09
A video of the incident posted by Punjab journalist Gagandeep Singh showed a crowd swarming around the deputy CM’s car amid heavy rain even as cops tried to keep the people away from approaching his vehicle.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
