Prime Minister Narendra Modi took several jibes at the Congress by invoking the name of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on multiple occasions in Lok Sabha today.
Hitting out at the Congress in the Lok Sabha on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invoked the name of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on multiple occasions.
PM Modi was replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in Lok Sabha. "You keep complaining that I don't take the name of Nehru ji enough. Today I will only talk about Nehru ji. Enjoy," PM Modi said.
Taking a veiled dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi said, "Your leader will also say 'maza aa gaya',".

Attacking the Congress for criticism over the Centre's economic policies, PM Modi went back to Nehru's address from Red Fort as the first prime minister of the country.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
