'Plotting against India?' Karnataka BJP on Rahul Gandhi-Jeremy Corbyn photo
India Today
The Karnataka BJP has put out a scathing tweet criticizing the high-profile meeting in London, asking what the "Congress owner and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi" is doing with him.
Rahul Gandhi’s photo with controversial UK MP Jeremy Corbyn has stirred up a political whirlpool with the ruling BJP sharply condemning the Congress scion’s approval of the British politician who “vehemently opposes India”.
The Karnataka BJP has put out a scathing tweet criticizing the high-profile meeting in London, saying: “UK MP and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn: Vehemently opposes India, supports Pakistan's stand on Kashmir, (is a) rabid Hindu hater, and a terrorist sympathizer. What is CONgress owner and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi doing with him?”
“Is he plotting against India with yet another Toolkit?” the BJP state unit asked.

The BJP’s beef with Jeremy Corbyn stems from the MP’s numerous tweets on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, which India has persistently maintained is its internal matter.
Reacting to the barrage of BJP’s tweets, Sam Pitroda, a close aide of the Gandhi family for years, told India Today TV: “He (Corbyn) is a personal friend of mine and came over for a cup of tea at the hotel. There’s nothing political about this.”
