A disturbing case from Gujarat reveals how a minor girl was sexually abused by her father after her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
A shocking case from Gujarat has come to light where a man allegedly began sexually abusing his minor daughter after his wife was diagnosed with cancer and became bedridden. The abuse continued for nearly four years before the girl fled her home, exposing the crime.
The incident was reported from Rajkot district, where a 19-year-old woman living in Upleta suddenly went missing from her parents’ house. Her father approached the police station and filed a missing complaint.
Following the complaint, teams from Upleta police and the Rajkot Rural Local Crime Branch launched a search operation. The woman was soon traced and brought in for questioning.
What followed during interrogation completely changed the course of the case.
During questioning, the woman revealed that her father had been sexually exploiting her since she was a minor. She told the police that the abuse began after her mother was diagnosed with cancer and became bedridden.
“He has been forcing physical relations on me for the last three to four years,” she told investigators.
