State-run oil marketing companies have not revised fuel prices on Monday as international crude oil rates continue to rise. Petrol and diesel prices have remained static for over a week. Global crude oil prices rose for a second straight day amid concerns over US output following the impact of Hurricane Ida on production, besides improvement in oil demand. Domestic fuel prices are unlikely to come down as a result of the recent increase in crude oil rates.
