Fans who had gathered to watch the first-day, first-show of Ajith Kumar’s Valimai movie were attacked with a petrol bomb in Coimbatore. In Chennai, Ajith fans had stolen curd mistakenly thinking it was milk.
A petrol bomb was hurled at actor Ajith Kumar’s fans at a theatre in Coimbatore on Thursday, February 24. In another incident in Chennai, fans stole curd packets, thinking they were milk, to perform a special pooja for actor Ajith Kumar’s cutouts.
Superstar Ajith Kumar's movie, Valimai, has finally been released after a two-and-a-half-year wait, pushing Ajith fans into a frenzy.
However, fans, who had gathered outside Archana theatre in Coimbatore, at 4.30am in the morning were attacked with a petrol bomb. They had gathered there to watch the first-day first-show of Ajith Kumar’s Valimai.
Police have reached the spot and have initiated an investigation.
Meanwhile, in Chennai, another video of Ajith Kumar fans stealing dairy products from a vehicle has gone viral.
The thieves had snatched milk packets from vendors to perform an abhishekam (anointing by pouring liquids) on Ajith's cutouts. However, the video has also gone viral, as apparently fans had stolen curd packets instead of milk.
