During his first visit to northeast Delhi since being appointed police chief in the city, Rakesh Asthana said that people who disturb peace in society should be identified and punished as per law.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
