As the rift within the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) deepens, late Ram Vilas Paswan's first wife, Rajkumari Devi, has asked his brother Pashupati Kumar Paras to save his family from breaking up before worrying about the party. Speaking to India Today/Aaj Tak at her residence in Shahrabani village in Bihar's Khagaria district, Rajkumari Devi said she was very hurt by the dispute between Pashupati Kumar Paras and his nephew Chirag Paswan. "Sahib (Ram Vilas Paswan) loved and respected his three brothers like his own sons," she said. She added, "Ram Vilas Paswan had given this family national recognition through his struggle and hard work. So Pashupati Kumar Paras should forgive Chirag Paswan for his small mistake. Members of the family will then forget their differences and the family will not break apart."
