Palnadu SP calls for special surveillance teams to curb ganja peddling

Palnadu SP inspects Sattenapalli police office, emphasises cybercrime awareness, road safety and resolving public complaints.
Palnadu Superintendent of Police Kanchi Srinivasa Rao on Thursday (December 20) held an annual inspection of the Sattenapalli sub-divisional police office. During the visit, Mr. Srinivasa Rao issued directives to improve operational efficiency.
He called for special surveillance teams to curb ganja peddling and instructed his subordinates to promote cybercrime awareness through the ‘Cyber Aware’ initiative, targeting educational institutions and villages to educate the public about online threats.
To address rising road accidents on national highways, he suggested identifying black spots, installing stoppers and conducting regular drunk-driving checks to enhance road safety. He also reviewed various records at the office.
The SP highlighted the importance of swiftly resolving complaints received through public grievance platforms to build trust and ensure justice. The inspection was attended by Sattenapalli DSP M. Hanumantha Rao, town and rural CIs and SB CI-2 Sharath Babu and other officials.
