Telangana grants a paid holiday on February 11 for employees to vote in upcoming municipal elections.
Telangana government declared paid holiday on Wednesday (February 11, 2026) to all the employees or workers working in the factories, shops and establishments and industrial undertakings or establishments located in the areas of Municipalities and Municipal Corporations notified to go for polls, so that they can exercise their right to vote. The polls will be held in a total of 116 Municipalities and seven Municipal Corporations on Wednesday.
