One terrorist has been killed in the encounter and it is yet to ascertained if it is top Jaish commander Sajad Aghani, who was believed to be trapped during the gunbattle. Top Jaish commander Sajad Afghani, who has been active since 2018, was believed to be trapped in the encounter. All entry and exit points were sealed as the operation went on since Saturday night in Rawalpora of Shopian. A number of arms and ammunition along with a cash amount of Rs 9,600 was recovered in the joint operation of the Army and other security forces.
