More than 20 people were injured when a pick-up truck ploughed into a group of pilgrims in Vadgaon Maval area near Pune on Saturday morning.
More than 20 people were injured when a pick-up truck ploughed into a group of pilgrims in Vadgaon Maval area near Pune on Saturday morning.
The pilgrims, known as warkaris (devotees of Lord Vitthal), were travelling on foot to Alandi, a temple town located approximately 25 kms from Pune when the incident occurred. The truck came from behind and rammed into them.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
