Opposition parties--Congress, AAP and Goa Forward Party--have condemned the alleged manhandling of renowned Goan writer Dilip Borkar at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji.
Opposition Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and Goa Forward Party on Saturday condemned the alleged manhandling of renowned Goan writer Dilip Borkar at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji.
Some bouncers deployed by a private security agency at the IFFI venue allegedly pushed and shoved Borkar and a journalist on Friday evening.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
