Oppn trying to divide nation on caste and religion: PM Modi in party meeting at Jaipur

The opposition is trying to divide the nation by caste and religion, PM Modi said during a national office bearers meeting in Jaipur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a party meeting in Rajasthan's Jaipur on Friday accused the opposition of trying to divide the nation on caste and religion. He said some political parties were injecting poison in the country for their own selfish interests.
During the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national office bearers meeting which the PM attended online, "Some political parties keep looking for small incidents of tensions to inject poison for their selfish interests," he said.
The PM urged the office bearers to stick to the country's developmental issues. "Attempts will be made to deviate you from the country's developmental issues, but you have to stick to them."

The prime minister said the BJP needs to work on the national goals for the next 25 years. He said it was the best time for party workers to achieve the target for the country. PM Modi
He said, "We all need to fight all challenges before the country. The entire world is looking towards India with hope. Our mantra is 'Sabha Saath, Sabka vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas'."
Talking about a change in the country's history, he emphasised that for a long period people were losing hope and faith in the political system, but that changed after 2014.
