Only native breed bulls can participate in Jallikattu: Madras High Court

The Madras High Court has ordered the Tamil Nadu government to ensure that bulls of native breed are allowed to participate in the Jallikattu events and not foreign or hybrid bulls.

The Madras High Court on Thursday directed the Tamil Nadu government to permit only native breed of bulls to participate in Jallikattu events. The court directed that there should be a prohibition on participation of foreign or hybrid breeds of bulls.
