The deceased has been identified as Arun, 23. Sanjay, aged around 20, suffered injuries.
Superintendent of Police G.K. Mithun Kumar informed the media that the police had secured two persons in connection with the incident.
“As per initial information, a few friends had issues with a cricket match they played in the evening. Later, when they were having liquor together when they got into an argument over the match, and that led to violence,” he said.
