'Not in my name': Women journos reject press body statement on Saba Naqvi
India Today
Several journos of a press body have rejected a statement on Saba Naqvi, who was booked for an alleged inflammatory tweet.
The Indian Women’s Press Corps (IWPC) on June 10 issued a statement demanding the withdrawal of the case against journalist Saba Naqvi. The journo was booked for a meme tweet on 'shivling' allegedly found inside UP's Gyanvapi mosque. However, several members of the journalist body have spoken out against the statement.
The IWPC had said, "Indian Women's Press Corps is shocked and concerned about the arbitrary manner in which an FIR has been filed against our member and senior journalist Saba Naqvi for her posts. We demand that the FIR be withdrawn by the Delhi Police."
Responding to the shock and concern expressed by the journalist body, Aasha Khosa said she rejects Saba Naqvi's "hateful messages on Lord Shiva".

"I am an elected member of the IWPC management Committee. While Saba is a valued colleague, I don't support her hateful messages on Lord Shiva and felt insulted. I have not endorsed this," said Aasha Khosa of Awaz-The Voice, with the hashtag Notinmyname.
