Not a single communal riot in UP in past 4 years, claims Yogi Adityanath

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has claimed that there has been no incident of communal riots in his state in the last four years.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday claimed that, unlike previous regimes, his government was successful in ensuring that all festivals are celebrated peacefully in the state. The chief minister claimed that there has not been even a single case of communal disharmony and riot in the last four years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a press conference on the successful completion of four years of his government, CM Yogi Adityanath said that this was the “same Uttar Pradesh where no festival could be taken place peacefully and without communal disharmony”. “I am happy to say that not a single communal riot has taken place in the state in the last four years,” Yogi Adityanath said.
