Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Delhi Police for about six hours on Friday in connection with a Rs 200 crore extortion case linked to jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Delhi Police for around six hours on Friday in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case filed against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Nora was questioned by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police as a witness in the case. The actor arrived at around 11 am and left the office around 6 pm after recording her statement. She was questioned about the gifts presented to her by conman Sukesh.
Last year, the Delhi Police filed a chargesheet against Sukesh, his wife Leena Maria Paul, and others, alleging that he extorted Rs 200 crore from the wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Singh.
Nora Fatehi refuted the allegations that conman Sukesh gifted her a BMW. She told the police that the car was gifted by Sukesh's wife in return for attending an event in Chennai.
