
Noida Authority awards Sector 47 as the cleanest colony in Noida

On the occassion of Gandhi Jayanti, several key projects were also launched in the twin cities on Saturday.
The Noida Authority awarded Swacch prizes on Saturday to mark Gandhi Jayanti. Sector 47 residential colony and the Sector 18 market were bestowed with the title of the cleanest area in Noida.
According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), several key projects were also launched in the twin cities on Saturday. While two footbridges and a park were inaugurated in Noida, the first public toilet in Greater Noida was also opened for the first time for the public near Surajpur trisection.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
