No truth in allegations against Aryan Khan: Dilip Walse-Patil on drugs case

Commenting on the drug-on-cruise case, Maharashtra home minister Dilip Walse-Patil has said there was no truth in the allegations against Aryan Khan.

A day after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan got a clean chit in the drug-on-cruise-case, Maharashtra home minister Dilip Walse-Patil said there was no truth in the allegations against Aryan Khan, so his name has been removed from chargesheet.

“I think the Centre has also taken cognizance of this matter and gave orders for action against the officer concerned,” the Maharashtra minister said.

“If anyone is falsely implicating an innocent person, then action should be taken against them. I think action should be taken against ex-NCB official Sameer Wankhede for the way he handled this matter,” he added.

On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was cleared of all charges due to the lack of sufficient evidence in the drugs case for which he spent more than 20 days in police custody last year. He was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 3, 2021, for drug consumption.
