Poll strategist Prasant Kishor has said no third front will be able to win elections in the country, and to defeat the BJP any party will have to emerge as the second front.
Poll strategist Prashant Kishor said he does not believe that any third or fourth front will be able to win elections in the country and if a party wishes to defeat the BJP, it has to emerge as the second front.
He said this in an interview to a news channel when he was asked if he was helping West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's party TMC to emerge as the third front for the 2024 general elections.
He said, "I never believed any third or fourth front can win elections in this country. If we consider BJP the first front, it has to be a second front to defeat the party. If any party wishes to defeat the BJP, it has to emerge as the second front."
When he was asked if he considered Congress as the second front, he said no, adding that Congress is the second-largest party in the country.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
