The BMC’s K West Ward issued a notice to Union minister Narayan Rane to inspect his bungalow named ‘Adish’ in Juhu for possible illegal construction.
There are no irregularities in my bungalow, said Union minister Naraya Rane after receiving a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) notice to inspect his Juhu house for irregularities.
BMC’s K West Ward served notice to Narayan Rane regarding his bungalow named 'Adhish' under Section 488, following complaints about irregularities in the property.
The BMC officials had visited the bungalow on Friday for inspection and verification of complaints. But no one from the family was present on the spot, so they will visit again on Monday.

"I was in Delhi yesterday and many people called to inform me that my house has received a BMC notice. Hence, I am addressing this press conference to clarify my stand. I have been staying in this house since 2009. The architect of my house is a renowned person. I have an occupation certificate from the BMC for this structure. After taking possession, I have not constructed an inch extra in the house. Only eight people stay here and it's completely a residential building," Rane said.
He added that even after not doing any illegal construction, Shiv Sena, which runs the BMC, is using it against him. "Balasaheb began Shiv Sena for Marathi people. Now the Sena is using it to break down the houses of the Marathi people. The Thackerays had constructed Matoshree and regularised illegal construction by paying money. I have those plans as proof," added Rane.
During the press conference, he repeated his allegations that Disha Salian and actor Sushant Singh Rajput were murdered. "When Sushant said that he would go after those who had killed Salian, he was murdered. Sushant's house help Sawant, who is a witness in the case, is missing," he said.
