'No cheating case': Bombay HC quashes complaint against Amazon India head

The Bombay High Court quashed a cheating complaint against India Head of Amazon India Amit Agrawal.

The Bombay High Court quashed a cheating complaint and criminal proceedings against India Head of Amazon India Amit Agarwal. The proceeding was initiated by Ulhasnagar magistrate court based on a private complaint filed by a lawyer Amritpal Singh Khalsa.

Quashing the complaint against Amazon India, the court said," The Magistrate failed in appreciating the facts of the case and thereby, committed an error in concluding that a prima-facie case of cheating has been made."
