NIA informs only 100 more witnesses to be produced in Malegaon blast case

Advocate Sandesh Patil, appearing for the NIA, told the Bombay High Court on Thursday, "I am told (by NIA officials) that over 100 more witnesses would be examined."
The Malegaon 2008 blast case is likely to see a lower number of witnesses during the ongoing trial as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) informed the Bombay High Court that it would "bring down the number of witnesses considerably" in the Malegaon blast case. Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Purohit, among others, are the main accused in the case. On September 29, 2008, two bombs had exploded in Maharashtra's Malegaon, killing nine people.More Related News
