
NIA arrests 2 for hurling bombs at BJP MP Arjun Singh's house

Bombs were hurled at BJP MP Arjun Singh’s house on September 8 and 14.
The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday arrested two persons for allegedly hurling bombs at BJP MP Arjun Singh’s house on September 14.
The arrested were identified as Rahul Pasi and Badal Kumar Basfore from North 24 Parganas. NIA officials said a wider conspiracy could be at play and they were investigating the case.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
