
NCPCR points out loopholes, recommends suspension of Delhi govt's 'Desh Ke Mentor' programme

In its latest letter, the NCPCR has raised objections, highlighting that the Delhi government does not have a scheme to filter out potential dangers to children.
The much-hyped scheme of the Delhi government, 'Desh Ke Mentor', has come under the radar of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), with the latter asking for immediate suspension of the scheme due to glaring loopholes.
In its latest letter, marked to Delhi chief secretary, secretary of Delhi LG, secretary, Ministry of Education and secretary, education, Delhi government, the NCPCR has raised objections, highlighting that the Delhi government does not have a scheme to filter out potential dangers to children.
