In a shocking incident, a 45-year-old tailor in Nagpur murdered five members of his family before taking his own life, IANS has reported. The tailor has been identified as Alok Matukar, who lived with his wife and two children in the city’s Pachpauli locality. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night and came to light the next morning after a neighbour raised the alarm.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
