Nagarjuna Agrichem Limited sponsors vidya volunteers for Class X exams, emphasizing education and community health initiatives.
Nagarjuna Agrichem Limited is sponsoring vidya volunteers who would extend their support to students appearinng for Class X examinations, company’s vice president K. Seshagiri Rao said.
He said that some 25 B.Ed qualified volunteers would supplement the efforts of government teachers by taking extra classes to clarify doubts and improve confidence levels of children taking the 10th class examinations.
Interacting with employees, local people and parents here on Sunday (December 1), he said that the company founder K. V. K. Raju was very particular about the improvement of educational and health standards of the people living in and around the factory located at Arinam-Akkivalasa of Etcherla mandal in Srikakulam district.
He said that the company has provided RO water plants to provide safe drinking water for people living in the surrounding areas. “We are also adopting the Zero Liquid Discharge policy which would prevent discharge of industrial waste water into the soil. The effective water management and safety measures are helping the company to get many awards from reputed firms,” Mr. Seshagiri Rao added.
