Congress MLAs in Goa, under the leadership of senior Congress MLA Digambar Kamat, are on the verge of revolt and may join the BJP, sources said. According to sources, at least six to ten MLAs are likely to join the BJP.

Amid rumours in the political circles of Congress MLA Michael Lobo joining the BJP, the party heavyweight has issued a clarification and said he is not joining the saffron camp.

Speaking to India Today, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo said, "I am sitting at my home. There is no truth to these talks. I don’t know who is spreading these rumours. But I am not going anywhere."
