In a shocking incident from Mumbai’s Mira Road area, a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death by two security guards of his own society. The two guards first quarrelled with the teenager first, after which one of them removed a knife and stabbed him to death. The entire gruesome episode was captured by the society building’s CCTV cameras. The Kashimira police station in Mira Road has registered FIR in the matter and the hunt is on for the two accused, who remain at large. According to police officials, the incident took place in the compound of Srishti Complex society, phase 1, Mira Road. The deceased young man has been identified as Abhishek Singh, 19, and a resident of the same society.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
