
Mumbai's air quality improves but continues to remain in 'poor' category

Mumbai's air quality improved to 201 on Wednesday from 280 a day before, according to SAFAR. However, it still remains in the 'poor' category.
The air quality index (AQI) of Mumbai improved to 201 on Wednesday but still remained in the poor category, according to the System of Air Quality Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
On Tuesday, Mumbai's AQI was 280 while on Monday it was 245.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
