
Mumbai Police forms SIT to investigate porn racket cases

To bring all cases under one team, the Mumbai Police forms a special investigating team. An ACP-level officer will be heading the SIT.
Mumbai Police formed an SIT (Special Investigating Team) to investigate the pornography racket case. An ACP-level officer will be heading the SIT. All the different FIRs in the pornography racket will be investigated under this newly formed SIT. According to crime branch sources, the whole pornography racket case is very large. The sources said there are lot of complaints, victims, accused and different cases. So, to bring all cases under one roof, an SIT has been formed. All the cases related to the pornography racket, no matter where it is registered, or any jurisdiction in Mumbai, will now be transferred to the SIT.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
