
Mumbai drugs case: NCB summons witness who made bribery allegations against Sameer Wankhede

The Narcotics Control Bureau has summoned Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, for questioning over his extortion allegations against NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.
Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the Mumbai cruise drugs case who made bribery allegations against Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, has been asked to appear before the NCB officials on Wednesday.
Prabhakar Sail has been asked to appear at the NCB office in Mumbai at 12 pm on Wednesday. A team of NCB officials is coming to Mumbai on Wednesday to conduct inquiry into the extortion allegations levelled by Sail against Wankhede.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
