Mumbai cop caught on camera feeding cake to criminal, inquiry ordered

A probe has been ordered against a senior inspector of Mumbai Police after a video of his feeding cake to a criminal went viral on social media.

A video of senior inspector feeding cake to a notorious criminal during a birthday celebration went viral on social media following which an inquiry was ordered on Thursday against the cop posted in suburban Jogeshwari. As per an official, the incident took place around two weeks back. The video which was widely shared on social media showed senior inspector Mahendra Nerleikar, in police uniform, feeding a piece of cake to one Danish Sheikh on his birthday at the office of a housing society. In the video, a person can be heard singing a birthday song for Danish.
