The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued guidelines for asymptomatic or mild Covid patients who can be treated in home isolation so that hospital beds are occupied with Covid patients having severe symptoms only. As per BMC, 85 percent of the daily cases reported in the city on Thursday are asymptomatic.
Amid the rapid surge in Covid cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday issued guidelines for asymptomatic or mild Covid patients who can be treated in home isolation. The motive behind the issuance of these guidelines is to ensure that hospital beds are occupied with Covid patients having severe symptoms only.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
