
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi hits out at Owaisi over ‘Shahi Idgah, Gyanvapi cases creating hatred’ remark

As controversy continues over the Gyanvapi Masjid case, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi hit out at AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi over his remarks on the issue.
Union Minister of minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi hit out at AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi after the latter claimed that with cases like Gyanvapi and Krishna Jhamabhoomi, an attempt is being made to spread hatred in the country.
Speaking to India Today, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “Owaisi is spreading rumors as part of his political agenda, but the people are not ready to accept him. This country runs on the basis of the constitution, not deception.”
He alleged that people who do not want the country to progress are spreading rumors related to various religious sites in the country. There is no reason to be afraid of these rumors, Naqvi asserted.

On the issue of madrasas, the BJP leader said that those that are registered on the portal and are doing good work shall continue to receive grants.
However, the madrasas that have not entered their details on the portal shall not be given any grant, Naqvi said.
Meanwhile, criticizing Naqvi's statement, Bhartiya Muslim Vikas Parishad chairman Sami Aghai claimed that the party that the BJP leader is praising is the party that is pushing this country towards communal hatred.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
