Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy emphasizes party unity for election success, criticizes fiscal mismanagement, and promotes government initiatives.
Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy urged party workers to work in coordination to ensure victory in the upcoming elections, adding that local body elections would be conducted within 90 days. He also stressed the need to widely publicize government initiatives and programmes.
Mr. Reddy, along with Thungathurthy MLA Mandula Samel, attended the swearing-in ceremony of the new governing body of the Shali Gouraram Agricultural Market Committee in the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, he criticised the fiscal mismanagement of the previous BRS administration, highlighting that the State, once known for its surplus budget, had accrued debts amounting to ₹7 lakh crore. He argued that prudent governance could have achieved a ‘golden Telangana’, free from unemployment issues.
Mr. Reddy encouraged party workers to compare the Congress regime’s achievements with those of the past decade and to actively promote the development work accomplished under the Congress government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He highlighted initiatives such as waiving loans of up to ₹2 lakh for every eligible farmer in financial distress, contrasting this with the priorities of previous administrations.
“Every worker who demonstrates hard work and commitment will be given due recognition in the Congress,” he assured. Taking a jab at former BRS MLA Gadari Kishore, Mr. Reddy suggested that Mr. Kishore’s diminished presence in the constituency reflected shifting political dynamics. Mr. Reddy congratulated the newly elected members of the Market Committee, including Chairman Shankar Reddy and Vice Chairman Narasimha.
